Troop 36  is starting to collect ANY memorabilia or documentation from the Troop’s past activities such as photos, trophies, patches, medals, film and video tape, stories - anything to do with the Troop, in order to create a presentation celebrating the upcoming 100th Anniversary of the Troop in 2011. We would love to interview any former Leaders, Executives, Eagles and Scouts.

FORD will sponsor and host the long awaited Distinguished Graduate Award this coming spring. This award is to honor graduates who have made significant contributions to society through their efforts in both public and private sectors -- local, national and international. We will be sending an email out with the nomination form and you could also pick the form up at the high school, middle school or at the school 's web site.  www.riverdell.org

FORD held its 5th annual golf outing at Valley Brook Golf Course in River Vale on Monday, June 30th 2008. Pictures are posted along with last years pictures. Save the date for next year at Valley Brook on Monday, June 29th.

The River Dell Community today celebrates the life of our coach, Matty Certosimo. Coach passed away last night, Feburary 8th. He leaves behind for many of us memories of an excellent teacher, a fine mentor, and a coach that taught us the true meaning of character and sportsmanship. He touched not only the lives of his athletes but also the kindness of this man reached deep into the River Dell Community. He will be missed. However, in this case, it is true that his memory, and more importantly, his lintegrity on and off the field will live on in River Dell.

The 2008 -2009 school will mark the 50th anniversary of River Dell. There will be events planned throughout the school year for all. If you would like to help please contact Frank Niccoletti at frank.niccoletti@riverdell.org
